Looks like a couple of our valued Staff members are going to have a chance to upgrade their licenses over the summer.  Thanks to Christina, KT1NA and John, W1AI. NEAR-Fest has been provided with two account passwords to give to deserving staff members as a kind of "thank you" for their efforts in helping us pull this off every six months.

Sure wish they were around in 1981 when I got MY Extra.  Boy, did I ever have to work!

John Goran. K1JJS a recipient of a HAMTESTONLINE acholarship in April 2014 successfully passed the Amateur Extra class exam at Deerfield on Saturday May 3rd.  John is NEAR-Fest's Director of Commercial Exhibits. 

Two ther scholarship recipients are currently studying for their exams and we hope to be able to announce their results in October.
