They finally moved Whitey to his new long-term home - USP Tucson.

Probably not too many Boston guys there. ¿Habla español, Señor Blanco?

2016 UPDATE:  Whitey was moved to US Penitentiary Coleman II in Sumpterville FL where he sits today.
Here are some remembrances written by someone who did time with Whitey in Coleman II:

In 2015 three high school students in Massachusetts sent a letter to Whitey asking for some help on a National History Day competition project.  They were surprised to receive an apologetic, handwritten letter from the former Boston mob leader:

Robert Powers, who is in charge of the school’s entries in the competition, told the Boston Globe that although the students had taken a risk with their project, “they have contributed to our historical understanding of Whitey Bulger, and to me, that’s what this program is all about.”
