Free Download KURT N STERBA SPEAKS OUT Antenna Book

Back in the 1990s there was a series of three very useful amateur radio antenna books written by Kurt N. Sterba that took a common-sense if not curmudgeonly approach to discussing ham radio antennas.  From reading his articles it was obvious this person knew what he was talking about.  Today this trilogy is highly sought after by radio amateurs.  It was obvious that the author was using a pseudonym and his identity was highly speculated.

?Kurt? also penned a regular column from 1999-2006 in RADIOWORLD which was a monthly, now defunct, publication for radio amateurs which often poked fun at the exaggerated claims of manufacturers.  It is now known that ?Kurt? was John ?Jack? Althouse, K6NY, SK, founder and president of Palomar Engineers a company well known for many fine amateur radio products including their famous antenna bridge, baluns and other antenna parts and accessories.

There is a great 140 page compilation of some lf ?Kurt?s? articles from 1999-2006 on the Palomar Web site called KURT SPEAKS OUT.  Fortunately it is a free download but be aware ther is a fair amount of advertising included.  Here it is
