NHIT - New Hampshire Interconnect Team
« on: April 24, 2008, 02:26:40 AM »

On March 25th, 2008 The New Hampshire Interconnect Team Organization (N1HIT) has been formed to establish a D-star repeater in Southern New Hampshire, with a longer range goal to promote the establishment of a Statewide D-Star network of repeaters.

NHIT is an organization of independent, like-minded amateur radio operators interested in D-Star digital amateur radio technology, and is not affiliated or beholden to any manufacturer, retailer, professional organization, or political party. The organization believes that digital communications over amateur radio has much to offer in areas of experimentation, exploration, emergency communications, and advancement of the amateur radio hobby.

We have over 20+ members, and are looking for more! A membership application can be found on this site. This site is the only OFFICIAL source of news regarding this project, and will be updated regularly with progress and information D-Star in general.

We meet on the first Friday of each month at Legend's Bar and Grill, just off Exit 5, Route 101 in Raymond, NH right next door from McDonalds.

The meeting starts at 7pm. show up a little early for some good food and to meet and rub elbows with some great people.

WE WILL BE AT NEARFEST! SO PLEASE COME OVER AND VISIT US!

Good afternoon.

From all at the VERMONT interconnect team K1VIT, I would like to congratulate you on your DSTAR system in NH. We are currently in the process of setting up our 1.2 ghz Icom Dstar at the summit of Mount Ellen in Waitsfield Vermont. We are also in the process of greating a giant link system via a UHF backbone also located on the summit of said mountain.

If you are interested, maybe our two clubs could consider a part time link between our two systems...

Best, 73
