Feature Article About Clem Beauregard, VE2BIA (SK).
« on: May 23, 2008, 11:56:54 AM »
This month's issue of the RAQI (Radio Amateur du Quebec, Inc.) magazine LE RADIOAMATEUR DU QUEBEC features a four-page article about Clem,  VE2BIA (SK), NEAR-Fest's first illustrious Canadian Liaison.

http://www.forum.near-fest.com/mm/RAQI-mai_2008_VE2BIA.pdf

It is, of course, in the French language but if you dust off your old high school or college dictionary you might get through it.  NEAR-Fest's Director of Operations, Mike Raisbeck, K1TWF, who is a serious student of the French language, says he will do a translation when (and if) he finds some spare time.

Our thanks go to Mr. Guy Lamoureux, VE2LGL, le Directeur General of RAQI for making this scan from the current issue of RADIOAMATEUR DU QUEBEC available to the NEAR-Fest Forum.

We are pleased and very proud to have had our wonderful friend Clem on the NEAR-Fest team representing us north of the border from 2007 - 2012 inviting all our VE friends to join us at Deerfield every six months. We miss him very much.

73,

MrMike, W1RC
