I always make it up ro to Weare at least for one day and always have a great time.  Larry, N1PHV, our Director of Operations is the Benevolent Dictator at Weare and he puts on a great show. I hear through the grapevine some guy is bringing a Sherman tank this year!  These guys are for real!

This is the beautifully restored 1967 USMC M151-A1C 106mm recoil-less rifle gun Jeep that Larry restored in 2012.  He told me when he got it the body had been cross-cut into pieces and it was essentially sold for scrap.  This is one of only three such vehicles still in existence.  There are two US Army models in museums and Larry's is the only one out there in private hands.  If you see it driving around Deerfield don't rub your eyes in disbelief.  It's probably in use as my staff car.

This is Larry's latest (and he tells me his last) restoration completed in June 2014: a 1968 M151-A1 JEEP with an ANGSS-14 searchlight 150 million candlepower that really lights up the night.  Note the temporary NH plates!  This photo was taken at the 2014 Weare Military Vehicle Rally.  It is indeed something to see.
