I'll be there rain, shine, or, even snow. Don't forget to dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Keep checking the weather report right up till the date of the fest.  CUL

I'm with you Carl.! We will be prepared for anything. I'll have sunscreen, and antifreeze both.

Hey Bruce!  Have Linda bring some of that great antifreeze along (again!).  ;)  The last time I had some of her hot buttered cinnamon apple cider it was delicious, and warmed me up. It really was like antifreeze.  :-X

Of course, no matter what the weather, we'll keep you connected to what's happening around the grounds!  Bring a small boom box or transistor radio and if when the temps drop, you can catch the Ham Jam on your radio from the comfort of your warm RV/tent & friends.  We broadcast on 95.1FM.

For Thursday night campers, we have a little something extra for you: classic old time radio!  We'll take you back in time to the radio drama broadcasts of the golden days of radio after 9PM!  So if yur camping out Thursday, break out the radio, pull up the sheets, and let your imagination create the stage like your grandparents did when they were kids listening to crystal or tube sets!

Friday morning, while you wait at the gates prior to general admission, keep us tuned in for the opening announcements, morning news, and a special announcement by NearFest Management.

Here is the deal on weather. The forecast for where I live has a strong northeaster ravinging Cape Cod, but Deerfield is not Cape Cod. Forecasts for Deerfield are noted for being off, sometimes worse, sometimes better. What is obvious is it will not be hot.
Attend, because if you do not you could be missing a great deal or great people.

I was happy to see the weather report,  I  have also been wondering if anyone knows of a site which has accurate daily weather records/reports for CEBU and BOHOL?

Here's the site I always use for up-to-the-minute weather:
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=43.100544189342926&lon=-71.24513626098633&site=gyx&smap=1&marine=0&unit=0&lg=en

We have a dusting of snow on the ground here but the temp is 35 and rising. Bring adequate layers for warmth and footwear that will keep your feet dry. It's going to be a great day.

See you all at the fairgrounds for another great event.
