Information needed on semi-rigid cable installation
« on: October 26, 2009, 09:22:43 AM »
I'm hoping someone out there in radio land can guide me.
At my work place they want to install about 400 feet of semi-rigid coax cable (Andrew Heliax 1/2" HL4RP-50A) for an AT&T in building cell repeater.

The thing is, I've done many a cable pull in my day but nothing like this.
I know there is a min. radius bend spec. but are there special tools we would need to do this?
It's pretty stiff cable. I'm wondering if we'd need some kind cable puller.
We don't have to do it but it would be great if we did. I just don't want to get in over my head. No good deed goes unpunished
Is this something we should let an outside firm do and take responsibility for?

Thanks,

Bri
The only thing to fear is fear itself.....and crazy bat-shit people. We should really fear crazy bat-shit people.
