Flea Market Parking Policy - PLEASE READ!!!!
« on: April 15, 2010, 04:08:33 AM »
We are trying to concentrate the flea market as much as possible so the following inside parking policy has been adopted.  Many people have told us that there are too many vehicles just parked in the high-traffic areas of the flea market area taking up valuable selling space and have asked us to do something about it.  Maybe it's because we're all getting older and walking around all day is becoming more challenging than it used to be.  Remember the 1970s and 1980s Hosstraders?   I remember several Hosstraders where the grounds were filled to capacity with flea market tables set up next to each other as far as you could see.

Consequently if you are not setting up a table to sell stuff please park your car elsewhere or at least allow someone to place their table in front of your vehicle.  This will only work if you are not planning on going anywhere until later in the day.  Club areas may allocate an "entrance-way" to allow vehicles in and out.

Frankly, we think it is a good idea so we are instituting it.  We would also like to gauge the flea market size compared to the peak years in the 1980s when tables were contiguous.  We want to see tables next to other tables as much as possible in the inner core of the flea market area.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
