The raffle was too long. One hour is a long time to stand around. Get rid of the little prizes. Have like 5 prizes two big and 3 small. 10 minutes was to long to wait to see if the person was there. With all the radios and 3 fm stations brocasting the name picked 5 minutes would be a good time to wait. If you are not right there you could call in on 146.520 and say that you are coming. There are a lot of older people and 1 hour was to long just to be standing around. Most of us are there for two days . On Saturday Most of us are up and around by 8:00 A.M. To be walk around for 4 hours and then have to stand around for 1 hour for some little prizes , Makes it a long day. I do not think they had to raffle off the DX maps. The last Hamfest they where giving them out for free. I think 20 minutes would a time to shoot for next fall. Short and sweet.
