Hi All. I wanted to provide the heads-up that my gear will be committed to providing the streaming/forum functionality again, so please keep this in mind and collectively bring all necessary gear for the jam. Some of my gear may be available depending on certain circumstances, but at this point I suggest not counting on it..

I don't know if we know for sure yet where the forums and jam will be this fall, that is being worked out still. If/when I hear anything I'll pass along any news.

Thanks!
-Ben

Wow, it is that time again. Amazing poster Rick!

I always look forward hanging with all of you cool/interesting folks. Before, during, and after.

Although some may lament, and many will rejoice, I won't be at the next one. I have family obligations and could not make the dates work. I will be landing in Bangkok at about the time of the festivities (with my lovely wife this time).
Please rock hard (but with suitable restraint) and be good to each other - keep it going. I look forward to seeing everyone in the spring.

BTW, if any of you smart folks can find a way to record and post the results/aftermath, I would appreciate it.

Also, I ran into one of the Adams at Marlboro hamfest. He recently obtained a real Leslie cabinet. I am sure that it sounds amazing with the Farfisa! Adam, If you prefer to wait for the spring before sharing it, I fully understand.

Boy, where does the time go?! :o With any luck at all, I'll be there with some assortment of keyboard instruments, though I haven't yet decided exactly which ones I'll be bringing with me. And as for the above-mentioned Leslie speaker, I haven't had a chance to test it yet, and am not sure how I'd stuff it into my little Honda if I'm going to be bringing any amount of stuff to sell, since it'd probably have to ride shotgun, and the trunk of my car (which probably wouldn't have enough room, anyway) will be filled with my camping gear. In any case, it should be fun!  :D

aka the guy who may or may not be bringing the Big Red Farfisa
PS: I now have a gray one too, though it needs a LOT of work before it would be jam-ready...

I'll be bringing the e-drumset as usual.  Do we know where we are playing this year?  Oh, I see, same as last time.

I will bring a cement block too.

Wow. I wish I was there. I am killing time with a long layover in Tokyo. Bangkok is a very cool place, but not very easy to get to.
I had planned to bring another nice hand wired amp (by me). Last time I brought a Fender Princeton clone. It was really great to hear it played by players more skilled than me. I have a newer 18 watt Marshall clone which I will try to bring in the spring. It is also too loud. Maybe I will put in a master volume, but that seems like cheating. Rock on folks. I will see you next year.

Truely another great NearFest!
Another great Ham Jam too!
Ham Jam was quite a bit smaller (Wow only 1 keyboard Player, Only 1 bassist, 2 & 1/2 Guitars)
Rain Friday didn't help....I'll post a rain Pic or 2 soon!
We actually had a small audience that applauded this time!
I didn't get a chance to talk with everyone in the audience this time.
But, I did get to meet Mike N1STN, (my pleasure)

This time everyone really came together and made it seamless.
From setup to clean up!
Thank you all...
