This is a radio site dedicated to the NEW ENGLAND AMATEUR RADIO FESTIVAL or the NEAR-Fest. The reason most come here is to meet and exchange information about the upcoming event on at the Deerfield NH Fairgrounds.
There are several areas for discussion on a wide range of subjects and topics and every registered user is free to use the forums to ask questions, provide answers, make plans and in general discuss the event. However I ask everyone to keep the following items in mind when posting.
1) The registration agreement you agreed to when you became a user.
2) This site has both Male and Female users. Or, to put it another way this is a FAMILY site.
3) This site has COPPA registered users ( Children under 13 ) and this site has agreed to follow COPPA Guidelines.
4) All actions, accusations, personnal attacks, misrepresentations, posts, pictures, graphics and the like become the legal responsibility of the webmaster despite who posts it. Please don't post anything you wouldn't want your mother to read.
5) No political or religious posts will be tolerated on this site ( unless directly related to our
hobby).There are thousands of sites one can go for that not to mention the TV or newspaper. I really don't think people come here for that. Frankly 70% of the posts that were pulled or created flame wars were of this nature and we don't need it here. There has never been one radio related post pulled on this site.
We ask that you follow common sense practices when posting in this section to ensure all users will
have an enjoyable time here.
