Hola........................well, now NEAR-Fest XI is history and we're going forward to number 12!
Thanks everyone for the super outstanding effort with both The Pirate Ship and the "Jam-Fest". Both were missing their key person. However Ross and Rick filled in superbly and the outsider probably didn't know that anything was different.
It pleases me to see this kind of "carrying on" in action. No one should be indispensable in this effort.
When volunteers do well their reward is usually a request for helping us in another area. We also will be needing more volunteers in the future, especially with selling tickets at the gate. We will be filling out a schedule sheet well in advance of the event and asking people to sign up for a time slot. If you are interested in helping out with this effort please sign up for a shift. We can't pay you but we can give you a complimentary meal at one of our food vendors.
